Compliance
Cover-All’s internal procedures ensure that your data is organized and managed in compliance with your organization’s business rules. Our clients tell us that our ISO 27001 Certification makes Cover-All “easy to work with" and gives them assurances that their confidential business data is managed in a secure environment. Our certifications mean that our systems and procedures are reviewed and tested every year by a third-party auditing firm. Cover-All also has an internal Production Control Management System that follows every project and its required documentation from docket creation to billing.
Our accreditations, internal processes and procedures, and our robust Business Continuity Plan will give your IT and security auditors confidence in the security of your business communication programs.
Risk and Compliance Officers
Communication across all industries has become increasingly sensitive to data security and is always focused on quality assurance, demanding more than the basics. It is becoming increasingly common for clients and prospects to employ staff dedicated to these important aspects of their business, who are also responsible for assessing the risk and qualifications of dealing with Partners. For over a decade Cover-All has been investing in data security and quality assurance and now leads in our tier of the communications industry. Risk assessment personnel find it an easier process when dealing with Cover-All, given we not only follow International guidelines, but we are also certified to these standards.
In Canada the ISO Member Body is SCC. The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is a Crown corporation established by an Act of Parliament in 1970 to foster and promote voluntary standardization in Canada. It is independent of Government in its policies and operations, although it is financed partially by Parliamentary appropriation.
Our clients tell us that our ISO 27001 Certification makes us easy to work with and gives them assurances that their confidential business data is managed in a secure environment.
ISO 27001 CERTIFICATION (Information Security Management System)
ISO 27001 Certification establishes requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). These standards ensure Cover-All manages the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or personal information in a way that can be trusted by our clients.
Certification involves auditing by a third party to check that the ISMS functions effectively and meets ISO 27001 standards. An organization must also perform internal audits to ensure its Information Security Management System (ISMS) is working. Additionally, clients may be invited to audit our ISMS for themselves. ISO 9001:2015 Certification (Quality Management)
ISO 9001:2015 is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement. ISO 9001:2015 outlines seven principles of quality management which Cover-All has committed to providing clients.
The ISO Difference
The International Organization for Standardization is an International standard-setting body composed of representatives from various national standards organizations. Founded on 23 February 1947, the organization promotes worldwide proprietary, industrial, and commercial standards. ISO is an independent, non-Governmental International organization with a membership of 165 national standards bodies covering almost all aspects of technology and manufacturing. These standards are used in and across a broad range of sectors including aerospace.
Why Certification Matters
While a company can adopt these standards, only those companies that opt for, and pass, an annual audit by an accredited third-party can claim certification. Clients benefit from ISO Certified suppliers due to the assurance the supplier is consistently following the standards and meeting the required criteria of the standard. Clients should accept nothing less than a certified partner.
Forest Management Certification
Cover-All is committed to environmental protection through our participation in the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) program. FSC® forest management certification confirms that a forest is being managed in a way that preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring it sustains economic viability. There are ten principles that any forest operation must adhere to before it can receive FSC® forest management certification.
